One of the greatest things about fish – is the diversity and simplicity in which you can cook it…enter today’s recipe – the Macadamia Crusted Tilapia.  In just a matter of minutes you will have a delicious main dish full of protein and flavor.


  • 4 tilapia fillets (or any fish you like)
  • ½ cup roasted salted macadamia nuts
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • 2 tablespoons minced cilantro
  • olive oil


In a food processor mix nuts, cayenne, and cilantro pulsing until it becomes a crumb crust consistency.  Lay fish on a foil lined baking sheet.  Rub olive oil over fish.  Top each fillet with some of the nut mixture.  Press mixture into fillets and cover the whole fillet.  Bake at 350 until fish flakes easily, about 15-20 minutes depending on what kind of fish and the thickness.  This is good on any fish.
