Its summer time.  Why not keep those abs flat and ready for the swimsuit anytime the opportunity arises.  Here is a quick workout you can plug into your summer exercise routine.

Equipment needed: dumbbells, jump rope

Duration: 25 minutes

Set the timer for 30 seconds.  Do the following exercises with NO REST between them.

Each set of 10 exercises should take about 5 minutes.  Rest one minute between sets.  Repeat for a total of 3 rounds.

  1. Prisoner Squat
  2. Pushups
  3. Bicycle Crunches
  4. Plank
  5. Reverse Lunges
  6. Squat Jump
  7. Lateral Lunges
  8. High Knees
  9. Renegade Rows
  10. Hypoxic Jumping Jacks

After you complete the workout…its a perfect time for a “Finisher” to really give your metabolism a boost.  Alternate the following for 20 reps of each – repeat for 3-4 sets

  • Burpees
  • Chase the Rabbits

Cooldown:  Take 5 minutes to stretch and relax
