With the summer heat now upon us – playing and working more outdoors – we will need an electrolyte / hydration replacement such as Gatorade.  This homemade Gatorade recipe is easy to make…and can save you money while at it.

Homemade Gatorade:

Ingredients:

  • 33 oz. Water or Coconut Water
  • 1/4 tsp. Himalayan Pink Salt
  • 1/2 tsp. calcium magnesium powder or crushed tablets
  • 1/4 cup of fresh squeezed juice (lemon, lime, etc.)
  • 1 tsp. or less of sweetener (raw honey or stevia)

Directions: Mix ingredients together and drink.
