High Protein 5 Ingredient Turkey Meat Loaf


As history can support – there is not much more that says comfort food more than Meat Loaf.  But still this comfort is ignored for the most part in weight loss programs because of the traditional fat content.  But with this 5 ingredient meat loaf recipe you can lower fat content by using turkey in place of meat.



  • 1 pound turkey, ground
  • 1/2 cup regular oats, dry
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tbsp onion, dehyrated
  • 1/4 cup ketchup


  1. Combine all ingredients and mix well.
  2. Bake in loaf pan at 350 degrees or to internal temperature of 165 degrees for 25 minutes.
  3. Cut into 5 slices and serve.

Nutritional value:  192 calories, 7 grams of fat, 21 grams of protein, 23 grams of carbohydrates
